This restaurant was recommended on Tembi Locke's podcast...recommended by both Tembi and Katie Parla. Stopped in for lunch while in LA for a work trip. Attentive, friendly service coupled with delicious authentic food left me full and happy to have driven a bit out of my way to check this place out. Get the tiramisu...you won't regret it

Considerate host, quieter outside. Super loud inside. He wAs accommodating as possible. It's a bit cold Out there. Bring a jacket. Super yummy pre food crackers. My lemon tagliolini was the right choice for me, making it the third of three times I've had it here. Nothing could have made it better. The people say so so on the beef carpacio. Bone marrow dish was an 8 for her and Dad liked the lasagna verde Our lovely and charming waiter called "new" on our check was calm, nice, funny and patient. Last time we took the expensive white truffle pizza which. We all agreed was not made to taste exquisite by the truffle addition, not worth it. We like to sit at the outside covered tent area for noise and temperature control best.

The spicy pizza was the best 9/10. The green lasagna was cool 7/10 a little bland for my taste. The Bolognese pasta was 8/10. Ingredients were fresh. My favorite dish was the pizza. We got lucky with a window seat otherwise the main room it's a little crowded kept bumping into staff lol but that's ok it's a small space. I feel in the summer outdoor seating is best. All things considered 4/5. It does the job.

Angelini Osteria on NYE I was impressed from the jump. Valet your car you'll thank me later. Walked in, announced reservations, and was sat immediately. The pre set menu for the eventful evening was extraordinary. Three courses and a wine pairing. Just wants to add in the word Allora ! Hiring it in the restaurant brought back Master of None on Netflix for me. I wanted to mention the highlight of of the night somewhere around 11:50pm the restaurant asked if we liked to stay and celebrate the new years. We popped champagne and brought in the new year right. I appreciate everything this place is and stands for, I truly just loved the experience.

My husband and I finally checked out Angelini Osteria to celebrate his birthday and it was such a great choice! The restaurant has a very intimate vibe and was packed when we went on a Sunday night so definitely make sure to make reservations. If you've been to the North End in Boston, this restaurant gave us very similar feels with the tight knit tables, Italian waiters, and great smells! We ordered the Bone Marrow to start and then each got pastas as our main dishes. The Bone Marrow was excellent - probably the best I've had and we loved the bed of gnocchi that laid under it. All around a very juicy and flavorful dish. For the pastas, I got the Tonnarelli ai Fruitti di Mare and my husband did the Tagliolini Limone. We both really liked our dishes and mine especially was packed to the brim with all kinds of seafood, so while it was on the pricier side, I did not feel cheated out of the seafood. For dessert, we did the bread pudding - you can't go wrong with it! :)

Angelini Osteria is widely considered to be one of the best Italian restaurants in and around Los Angeles. Featured in the Michelin Guide, and ranked #72 on Jonathan Gold's last Los Angeles Times 101 Best Restaurants list in 2017, their reputation is legendary. This place had been on my radar for a long time, so I'm glad I finally got the chance to try it. To eat, I ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese, priced around $32. In addition, we split an order of the Focaccia. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good. At around noon on a Saturday, the restaurant itself was practically empty. Service was therefore extremely quick. Ambiance was A-OK. If you're in the area, Angelini Osteria is worth stopping in at.

I'm still dreaming about the standout dishes from dinner at Angelini Osteria a few weeks ago: Fried squash blossoms Grilled Octopus Spicy broccoli side dish Bread pudding dessert The other dishes we tried were decent but not amazing. The whole Branzino was good but needed more flavor, as did the chopped salad. The pasta we ordered (Bombolotti) was a little too al dente, in fact downright hard. We probably should have said something but since we had so many other dishes to try, we opted not to. They were out of several options for dessert, but I have to say the bread pudding, while not our first choice, was stellar and I will definitely order it again if I see it on the menu next time! We were seated outside in the patio and it seemed a little awkward in terms of layout and space, but they made it work. It was very busy on a Saturday evening; reservations are highly recommended during peak days/times!

Went there for Saturday lunch, food was amazing!! it is not heavy at all. Octopus salad was crispy outside and tender inside. The swordfish carpaccio was amazing!!! Tender and fatty fish, has crusted pistachios on it. Truffle pasta was soo good but honestly I didn't taste the truffle that much. Maybe it's because the sausage flavor was very Strong. Service was good, waiter would come and check on you. We were seated outside and it feels like a café place in Europe somewhere.

Again coming here with my cousin after a year and we order affogato again and tiramisu. Love the vibes here. Everyone is nice and relaxed. Must visit if you are in the area. Gotta be careful because I remembers he is diabetic type 1.
